Bordeaux, Grenoble, Montpellier, and Paris are just a few of the cities that now host these places combining homes, coworking, and a broad ecosystem of services and leisure facilities. Among them, the Ciel Rooftop, a true Italian restaurant on the terrace of the residence Marseille Vieux-Port. Located on the seventh floor of the building, it’s the ideal spot to enjoy one of the city’s most beautiful sunsets.

The project arose from the need to rethink the lighting of the restaurant’s terrace, starting with a safe and reliable product, even when exposed to rain and bad weather. A versatile, customizable product that allows you to fully personalize the arrangement of the lights, even for very specific needs.
More lights on the tables or above the bar counter, and softer ambiance by the sofas? Every client request was taken into account, for a tailor-made project designed with care, starting even from the floor plan of the space.

To create an installation that met all expectations, we started with Eiva-2, the double-outlet socket that’s perfect for string lights, combining aesthetics and safety. Thanks to the special insulating gel inside and a membrane that seals tightly around the light bulb, this light socket has an IP65 protection rating and can safely withstand rain and storms.
One of the features most appreciated by customers is also the ability to add lampshades at any time without changing anything about the installation, making it very easy to change the restaurant’s atmosphere in the future if desired.
To connect the 65 sockets, more than 100 meters of white outdoor textile cord were used, which not only blended perfectly with the string lights but also brought timeless elegance to the project. And to give the project the warm, natural light the client was looking for, LED Globe G95 light bulbs with double loop curved filament were used.
