Creative-Cables lights up Precollinear Park

Torinostratosferica, a social laboratory for urban research and innovation, has given new life to the spaces of a former tram line by creating a “green strip” stretching for 800 meters. For the 2021 summer season, it also launched “Precollinear Park Summer,” inaugurated on July 13 and running until the end of the month with events, talks, and much more.

We enthusiastically took part, designing and creating 6 different site-specific lighting environments. We made very long string lights (including one that was an impressive 160 meters!) and developed systems to best illuminate and enhance the park’s setting.

To properly illuminate such a large outdoor area, a water-resistant system was necessary, and there was no better choice than our EIVA waterproof system with IP65 protection rating, which also performed perfectly during the heavy storm that hit Turin a few days ago.

Thanks to the great versatility of our systems, we were able to play with lengths and drops to create real lighting installations.

We created arrangements with EIVA Pastel pendants, using all four available colors, while for lighting the long avenue we used the Swing Pastel lampshades.

Lumet string lights also played a big role, perfectly lighting and decorating the old streetcar shelters. Thanks to their IP44 water resistance, they’re the best choice for outdoor spaces like terraces, balconies, and patios.
