Making a one-bedroom apartment functional and bringing new light to a unit on the balcony of a typical early-1900s Milanese ringhiera house: a challenge for the Milanese design studio Moodular.
In the project, which restored the one-bedroom apartment to its original historic charm without sacrificing modern living needs, the bathroom was placed beyond the bedroom, and a functional hallway with wardrobe and loft was created before the sleeping area, making it cozier and more intimate. The living room, both welcoming and practical, features a kitchenette with dining table and a living area with an extra bed for a guest.
In this space, a Flex 60 adjustable lamp was placed above the round table.
Meanwhile, to make evenings with friends even more enjoyable, a Fermaluce Metal with curved extension was installed above the sofa. A single pendant, with 2XL braided cord and beechwood end piece crafted in Italy, lights up a hallway with a wardrobe before the sleeping area.
The Fermaluce in metal is the perfect lamp to light up the bathroom mirror. The satin bronze finish was chosen to create a point of contrast in a bathroom designed with natural tones and a tactile look.
The bedroom has been lit with two Flex 30 wall lights which, positioned by the nightstands, shape the dreams of the guests.
