Damart, a historic clothing brand founded in northern France in the 1950s, recently opened its new flagship store in Lille.
At the center of this impressive store, housed in a historic building in the city center, stands "Le Grande Geste"—an installation created with 1000 meters of our Red Silk-Effect Cord RM09, which runs from the spools on the ground floor, like in a giant spinning mill, all the way up to the roof of the building!
We are especially fond of this piece, because once again it shows how our cords, when used creatively, can become much more than simple electrical tools—they can be true means for creating artistic installations.
